HomeTarget is a US home-services directory with published USD cost guides, a multi-service cost calculator, and a quote-request service. This page is also available as markdown at /agents.md.

What an agent can do (public, no auth)

• Service taxonomy + per-category lead pricing: /data/services.json · For Pros rate card

• Contractor listings (no homeowner data): /data/contractors.json

• Full text corpus: /llms.txt · /llms-full.txt

What an agent cannot do

• Submit a quote request for a homeowner — the Get Quotes flow requires the homeowner's own contact consent. An agent may prepare the fields and hand them over for submission.
• Buy leads, claim a listing, or pay for Featured — those need the professional's own account and payment authorisation (Claim, For Pros).
• Access homeowner personal data — the public feeds contain none.

Honesty limits

Cost ranges are typical US ranges in USD from published market research — estimates, never quotes. Licence Verified appears only where a real state registry exists for that trade; otherwise Insured & Bonded Verified. Featured listings are paid and marked Sponsored everywhere, including feeds. Reviews exist only for jobs booked through HomeTarget and confirmed completed by both sides.
