HomeTarget (https://hometarget.com) is a US home-services directory with published USD cost guides, a multi-service cost calculator, and a quote-request service connecting homeowners with local professionals.

## What an agent CAN do (public, no auth)

- Read the service taxonomy and per-category lead pricing (the same public rate card homeowners and pros see):

## What an agent CANNOT do through this API

- Submit a quote request on a homeowner's behalf. Quote submission happens only in the human-facing flow at https://hometarget.com/get-quotes/ because it requires the homeowner's own contact consent (phone/email) for professionals to reply. An agent may prepare the fields (service, city, project details, timing) and hand them to the homeowner to submit.
- Buy leads, claim a listing, or pay for Featured placement. Those require the professional's own account and payment authorisation, starting at https://hometarget.com/claim/ and https://hometarget.com/for-pros/.
- Access any homeowner's personal data. Feeds contain no homeowner data at all.

## Honesty limits of the data

- Cost ranges are typical US ranges from published market research, in USD. They are estimates, never quotes.
- A "Licence Verified" badge appears only where a real state registry exists for that trade and the licence was checked; otherwise listings carry "Insured & Bonded Verified" (e.g. Texas does not license house painters).
- Featured listings are paid placements and are marked Sponsored in every feed and page.
- Reviews exist only for jobs booked through HomeTarget and confirmed completed by both sides.
